Need a mmorpg desperatly

I think my tastes for games is alot different than the majority of players.

What i want in a game is:

Freedom in pvp.. anyone can attack anyone, u can team up, help eahcother if u want, a good example of this is ultima online.

harsh death penalty. preferably want it to be possible looting other players when they die. again.. good example is ultima online.

PvP made for 1 vrs 1 aswell. World of warcraft for example was made for group pvp.

i want a medieval theme aswell...warriors...mages etc.

the game must be in beta ofc. i like being there fromthe start.

cant think of more things right now but point me to a game i like hehe

The game is called Tibia, it has one of the most harshest death penalties for an mmorpg, freedom to pvp and take anything you want on the person you just murdered in cold blood, kill anyone you want anywhere you want except inside churches, banks and your house, it has not been in beta since the mid 90's and it's age shows for that fact alone.

I used to play that game before all the massive amounts of aimbots were introduced and before skull system. Was a pretty fun game but IMO it's totally ruined now with all updates.

I knew it since you live in Sweden. You may want to check out Meridian 59, it has all that you mentioned except the beta part again, if you do try it out be sure to choose server 101 to make your character on.

Entropia Universe.... real cash economy tho.... you can loot other players, team up if you'd like.

But in order to do that you'd have to invest alot of money, not worth it imo.

Sorry no, that game is bad, as a matter of fact it's not even really considered a game at all, it's a casino with a game like physics... besides OP stated he wants a game with a medieval theme.

Darkfall online sounds too good to be true!!

It's perfect, it's like yea.. simply perfect. amazing.. I've read through whole website and read the forums.. I'm so excited and I don't think I will be able to sleep now until it's released

Yeah darkfall looks awesome, if it ever gets released, and they can pull off the whole thing.

Hmmm I have never played ithem, but I think Lineage 2 or AC fits your description almost perfect except for the beta thing. (They have both been out awhile). What you describe is an old style of mmo which the industry has moved away from.

Don't loose too much sleep. I hate to break it to you, but it is too good to be true. Darkfall is a game that has been in production forever. The hype and promises they make will probaly never see it into a final form. Personally I think this game is either vaporware or if it ever is released it will be a severly dumbed down version with lots of bugs and crappy gameplay. (Horizons anyone?) But that is just my opinion. You are free to dream if you like.

Darkfall is turning out to be the next Duke Nukem Forever.
