Those Halcyon days

I, like many others, are restless and unhappy stuck in limbo waiting for the next great saviour of the mmo genre to be born. No matter how many games I try nothing seems to hold my interest since quittng WoW. I find myself reminiscing on my first experiences in Everquest. I miss my Necro and the things I could do with him. I enjoyed that fact that my class could do so many things that other classes couldn't. I remember soloing the entrance to Howling Stones at lvl 50-51, nothing got your blood pumping like knowing one wrong move can cause hours of frustration (at the time nobody was doing HS anymore so getting someone out there to summon your buddy would not be easy). No other game has come close to the feel of the EQ necro class.



Soloing 4 and 5 rhino's and cacti at a time in OT with my druid. Ahhh those were the days.





Of course all of this has me wondering if I should reopen an account but I don't think I could handle the exp loss and travel times anymore. Games like WoW have spoiled me. But I must admit the progression servers were so damn tempting.

The progression servers were very good fun at first.  You missed out.
