Are you going to THIS link and changing it under -Signature- from "Custom" to "X-Fire"?
Once you do that you should be able to just enter your profile name [make sure you are spelling it correctly], and you should be able to save. Also, make sure you actually have a registered X-Fire account.

I also am having this problem with my signatue. i am going to the link that u put and am setting it on xfire not custom.
I can't get it to work either. I have put in the profile address, doesn't work. I have pasted the code that xfire says to, doesn't work. HELP PLEASE! Keep getting the ERROR: invalid characters message even though I copy and pasted directly from from xfire.
(I really will feeel stupid tho if i have to type in the code myself)
