Unfortunetly in few guilds i was in whenever bow droped bow went to one of the oldest member that have more dkp points, no matter of his class, warrior or scout. No one think about fellow guildies even when i asked before joining if there is NBG (need before greed and i ask always) and got positive answer (wouldnt join if it wasnt) when phat loot drop everyone is jumping on it and raid leader didnt cared which profession need it and which one want it just for show (pimp up toon).

I would have bought and subscribed to this game right now if that did not concern me.  That is, the necessity of joining a Guild to advance in a meaningful way.  It seems like a forced-guild game to forced-raid to obtain the best items.

I do not like that.  Otherwise, i would have bought the game and subscribed.  Oh, well.  Hopefully the new expansion will have a different end-game opportunity for gamers like me.

Maturity in eq2 is only skin deep.  I have many logs i have turned into SOE of kids and adults chatting rather rudely and offensively in the server wide channels .............. just for attention ........... and nothin has yet been done to any i have reported.

I see players in this forum commend players of eq2 for being mature by giving them items or basically walking them through the game.  This is not maturity, this is a sign of bored players with nothing better to do then help new players and give them money/items they dont need becuase thier alt twink probally has better gear then some of you will see years into the game.  Dont confuse maturity with boredom ..............

Yes eq2 has the chuck norris jokes, yes eq2 has griefers, yes eq2 has whiners, yes eq2 has immature people, and yes eq2 has bots.  All the things that WoW has.  Difference is eq2 has a lesser population ......... its in the 250k to 300 k range while wow is at whatever ungodly subscriber number it is.  This basically lets you, an individual, run into less people that act this way becuase there are less of them ................ ide put money that on a percent basis you would have the same percent of immature players in both games.  So all you are seeing is a lesser frequency becuase there isnt as high as a population.

This is not a game that screens people and there isnt this understood rule that you act a certain way or else ............. its a online game like all others and attracts all kinds like all others ............................

I wish the trial had more depth to it.  I would possibly play if I could be assured of the game after a more extensive trial.  I was limited to an island on one trial and a certain area in another.

2nd poster: You can get good items. up to 70. Then its your decission to group for better and after that its your decission to raid for even better. You can easy start T7 instances in mastercrafted gear.

As it is now you can solo/casual group up to 70. Then you do instances if you like. If not, do soemthing else. There is a lot to do and there are many good guilds where it is fun top play with lower levels or raise an alt for fun.
