    And here we have the prime determinate about whether or not you'll like FFXI. This is my FAVORITE part of FFXI, and I expect the team-based emphasis the favorite part of it for a lot of other people who are hooked on it.

    Absolutely true.  I actually loved getting in a good party to gain my levels, I met a lot of nice people and it formed a really sweet community.  FF11 is a game where you WANT to feel 'needed', and quite frankly you are never going to feel needed solo.  It's a very boring game to not partake in the community :(

    So true. I couldn't agree more.



    Part of FFXI's brilliance is in its battle dynamics and in how each class works in a party. In no other MMO have I seen solid strategy and skill so well-rewarded as it is in FFXI.



    Unfortunately, some never get to experience this, really, as they're more focused on finding a single-player experience in it and are walking away disappointed to not really find one.
