anyone know? 14 day trial ?

I Have been playing DAoC since the release in 2001 and am currently looking for a new mmo for me and a few friends. Was curious if anyone could shoot me a 14 day trial or even if they are offered for this game? Buddy Pass? anything? so i can check this game out and see for myself what its all about! thanks to any who can help really appreciate it!

if there was a 14day trial it would be on the official vanguard site...and bob is right, 20 gigs is a lot to download.

Taegan, people who bought the collectors get a set of buddy keys that grant a free trial (7 or 14 days, i cant remember atm - just woke up). The first day or so of the trial is generally needed to d/l the 17 gb client. Good luck getting a key and welcome to Telon

Was it only the collector's editions that had buddy keys?  I thought I had something that came with my copy.. but I am not sure.. and even if I did not positive where it would be, but ill msg you or something if i do find it.

I'm sure once all the major bugs get sorted out SOE will put in a trial, but when it happens you'll know... They WILL advertise it everywhere they can, and I hope it happens soon... The only things keeping me from logging into VG right now is a very small population in a very big world and a few annoying glitches that cause the occasional death/headache.

Does the precopy of vanguard give you a free trial or just the in game items, i've seen it for sale on ebay still for like 5 dollars or so.

The precopy gave a 3-day headstart before release. Not sure if it gives you any kind of trial at this point or if the item codes still work for the ingame stuff. The regular edition game gives one buddy key I believe and the collector's edition is indeed ten.
