Chapter 6: The Beastmaster 3 pet limit

I am posting here, as a returning vet on the 14 day free trial to evaluate Chapter 6 of SWG because I am unable to post on SOE's forums without an active subscription.

My pre-NGE profession, MBH / MCH Wookie.

 My initial reaction was approval, till it came time to call forth my pets on day 1 of the Chapter 6 release. I am happy I can call my mounts, but am very reluctant to "stuff" all my older, fully grown, fully leveled, and fully trained pre-NGE combat pets. I am not pleased I have to "re-learn" my pet skills, albeit, I am uninformed if the old CU system pets skills even apply to the new pet statistics, though my pets' stats still show them. L1, L2, and L3 skills. 

The forums state a 3 pet maximum for everybody, for reasons of keeping pets happy. This sounds like another lame WOW comparison to the Hunter's limit of 3 pets, 1 active, with 2 stored in a stable. All veteran Master CH's had a capacity of up to 22 pets they could have, which, after collecting rare pets, joke pets, and fun combat pets for any occaision, 22 was a stifiling limit. It's like telling a Warrior he can only have 3 weapons in his inventory, 1 in his grip, 2 in the bank back in town.

They almost had me at "hello".

    with chapter 6 any player can have



    12 combat pets or droids and

    10 mounts or vehicles



    in the datapad.

    it was only stated that with all the effort u have to put into a pet most will probably only take upto 3 combat pets (a damagedealer, a tank and an alround pet perhaps).

    Thanks for the correction...it means I wont be able to add more mounts then.  I am a pack rat, what else can I say? Time to grind that 2nd alt spot I have then....make it the BM.
