Do other companies pay people to get on the boards to flame games? 

I mean, I have seen so many Lineage flame messages on so many topics, I have to wonder where these people come from?  image  Look at any topic on this list and there is a 97%+ chance that someone added a "I don't really have an opinion on this topic, but i just wanna say this game sucks..." message to the thread.

My time is busy enough that I barely have time to keep up with the boards of the games I LIKE, let alone any ones I dislike.

Or, are these people all so sad and pathetic that they enjoy spending their time being a negative cancer on the boards and trying to make other people miserable.... image

    I agree with you to some extent. I don't see why people just come on the boards to say how much a game sucks and not even give a good reason for it. "Oh it sucks because you have to kill lots of monsters to level." This seems to be the complaint I hear most... Of course if this is your problem with the game then most MMORPGs are not for you. However message boards are for people's opinions. They have a right to post what they think about the game. I just wish everyone would give a good reason for not liking a game and actually be mature about it. Theres nothing worse than reading a post about how much someone hates a game and knowing after the 1st paragraph that the person has a first grade reading/writing level.  Please people, if your going to tell us why you don't like the game, state your reasons clearly and be mature about it

    I understand your point.  I agree that people should be free to post their opinions.  My problem is that they post the general 'Lineage sucks' post on just about EVERY thread, including one's that don't seem to be remotely related to opinions on the game.

    I will give a made up example of what typically happens:

    THREAD:  BEST ARMOR FOR AN ORC MONK

    First Post:  What's the best armor for an Orc Monk?  They get a light armor skill, but heavy armor seems so much better.

    Second Post:  I've got a lvl 28 Orc Monk.  I stuck with heavy armors through the non-rated armors, then when I upgraded and picked up the light armor skill, I changed over.

    Third Post:  I don't think the light armor skill provides enough benefits to offset the PDEF of the heavy armor.

    Fourth Post: LINEAGE 2 SUCKS.  I don't see why ayone would every play this game!  I have nothing to add to this topic.  I just like to try to flame topics since I get in trouble for flaming people.

    'nuff said.

    Not to mention light armor is the way to go for Orc monks. They do horrible with heavy armor. ::::39::
