Thinking on returning... have a question

My question is if I register this CD-key with the account I used for the 3 day early access to the game and open beta, would my character still be there? The reason why I ask is because I also have another SOE account that has EQ Anniversary Edition on it so if my character is not in the Vanguard account anymore then I will register the key on the one with EQ and vice versa.
