bugged 2 hell.. hope this aint the sign of things to come, very fussy with password format, enter posscode but only let me use 5 characters, I needed 6, after completing it it throw me back to the start with an error.  Mythic realy screwed up there

bugged i made a account. And im not even from EU. But i used found some UK address and used it for that portion =P. worked like a charm

Awwww...man ... well I would totally complain and cry n such but usually EU does kinda get the short end of the stick in beta so I guess its only right  a game world that originated in EU gets first dibs.  Good luck too you all.

You just need to wait a couple of seconds. It'll show up then. At least it did with me

Ive had it up 30min now and pressed the refresh button and the new picture button a couple of times, nothing happens

Are you using Mozilla Firefox? I used Internet Explorer for it. Maybe that'll do the trick.

If I'm not mistaken DAoC had the exact same thing, so it's not exactly a recent trend.

If I'm not mistaken DAoC had the exact same thing, so it's not exactly a recent trend. DAoC were the first to use it, that was 5 years ago, more recently, WoW, CoX, DDO, LOTRO have used it and now WO is. So it is a trend... Sigh... Its besides the point really, server segregation is lame.

Took a little while, it is yes, very fussy on Account name and Nick name, not allowing capitals so get rid of them for a start, password must contain 2 capitals 2 none capitals and 2 numbers.



Didn't like the use of capitals in E-Mail address either.



when GOA was first announced there was a moan from a lot of old school DAoC players. I can see why.



Anyhow site looks nice, not nearly finished but I can see potential there, prehaps set up to soon for May newsletter pushout.



Lets hope thats all the problem was.

I tryed them both but it was the same thing. But when i woke up this morning the picture was there so now iam signed to

Just say you're from the UK or Germany or some European country



Now, the image doesn't show up with firefox. Need to use IE (gay) or some other browser to see it.

yeah a bit buggy i guess but managed to sign up..

 

password thing was a pain in the arse tho but hey at least i managed to sign up..

 

as for the post code thing i jsut put the first half of my uk post code and eft it as that.. im sure they dont need your exact address for anything haha...

yeah i ended up switching to Firefox, site still crashed on my DxDiag and the password system seemed needlessly complicated.

But unlike IE it just asked me for my comp specs, and used that instead.

guy this thing has the great "Style before function" typical of GOA and I think it is their doing...

 And the byzantine password required confirm it (in daoc eu you COULD NOT choose your own password but were given a random password by them with NO  chance of changing it)

.. i mean.... 2 digits i get it, 2 UPPERCASE  and 4 LOWERCASE???? wth? why?? So it is harder for me to rember it?

goto www.warhammeralliance.com in the news section has a thread with all the problems and some fixes, dont worry about the UK postcode just enter what you can and it will go through.

I feel the same though the website looked nice but it was very broken and the english was very bad, lets just hope they didnt anticipate the amount of sign ups.

In DAoC i had no problems with GOa, they solved all my problems very quickly!

Finally signed up

When I clicked browse button to ad dxdiag file and browsing window pops up just double clicked on my dxdiag file there, not selected it to click add button. Hope it works for you too.
