WTB a Modern MMO

I miss well a kind of Film noir MMO.. But not like second life.. More well like Underworld, Hellsing, Blue Submarine no. 6 etc etc inspired game. U get the idea..

Could take place in a well know capital or a fictional capital..

Dystopia, with a twist of dark magic.. not the old fashion hack'n'slash with swords.. have become a bit feed up with fantasy lately..

    Go look up a game called "Secret World".  I believe it was called "Cry Gaia" at one time.  I dont have my link handy but im sure  aquick google search will pick up for yah.

    Which part of  "Film Noir" or "Dystopia" have you not understood?

    The games you mentioned are "wow, I'm so cute" manga asian-MMOs.

    Sorry Phoenix, but the CEO's of the game developement houses(men in suits, who really never played a game) have decided that the future is "WOW".

     

    So, look forward to "happy hippy" gfx, swords and dwarves, streamlines MMO's where the gameplay is focused on 3 things.. Telling you a B-movie story(where you're the uberduper hero of the movie, along with every other player...), neverending grind(because we gots to have levels and a grind no?) and neverending lootcamping(because a mob MUST drop something that makes you want to kill it no?).

     

    Ofcourse, there's always Fallen Eart

    Well Thx for the replies, and well look at fallen Earth and Secret world..

     

    Fantasy is the focus atm, but tbh a more sci-fic not so far future game wouldn't be that hard to make..

    Huge cities or maybe a copy of NY, running in the allies, u know.. Raind falling from the black sky, police cars roaming in the distance.. film noir..:)

     

    Well I was hoping for a Starcraft MMO:P but might be a bit too complicated to do^^
