As a vet that started playing from day 3, I tried the game out today and I wasnt that dissapointed with the game play, but it lacked something I dont know what is it I cant place my finger on it, guess it just wasnt the same playing with no one I know maybe im just not bothered to start making friends or anything lol, Ah I dunno, who else feels the same way, dont mind the gameplay but miss the community?

Oh also, Anyone use to play on eclipse?

I have been back crafting for 2 months with my Elder Armorsmith and I'm having fun, but what gets me is I never see many people but I have over 300 million in sales since I returned so I know there out there. There just sneaking in to town and buying stuff but when I catch them I make stay and chat.

Since Chapter six A lot of people have poped back in by a lot I mean 3 times more than normal but thats nothing near the numbers of the CU or Pre-CU, even my servers one time best Weapon Smith has returned and has flooded the market with weapons that are pretty good at the lower lvl's.

The Bazzar is full of things to buy again I bought a Firespry for 10 million which I though was a very good price.  Ber 44 harvestors I stocked up on them at 1.5 million each which I though was a good price.

I'd hate to admit it but Chapter six feels like the Combat from the CU time frame. and yes groups are need for the hard quests. Or even silver elites need to be 3 maned with one being a healer.

You can get the old interface back now by selecting Galaxies Modern, then setting up auto attck also.

I also use a mod which gives me the PreCU style interface too. I'm still mad at SoE but I became real tired of hack and slash games. I just hope they keep the game moving in the right direction.

FYI running Galaxies with a Nivida 8800GTS just rocks all settings at max the game looks very good.

Any ways I would recomend to other vets to take the 14 trial and see for yourself. Its not going to be populated as you remember but people are coming back.

300 million in sales wouldn't take that long these days :S Everything is sellign for stupid prices lol. I remember when i was playing at the start of 2006 with the NGE the sunriders crystal was at about 100-150 million and barcs were at 10 million. Jetpacks were going for 80 million and the lava crystal was around 50 million.
