Howdy, Stranger!

It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

Really bored.. lets get active for once!

Currently... again... I'm doing streches, jogging/running , sit-ups, and push-ups (for my age, and how many I'm able to do correctly is kind of bad heh) every day. Paintball is too expensive and no one plays Airsoft in South FL so I was thinking about skateboarding. Alot of my friends skateboard so that's a major plus.

I was woundering, if any one here does skateboarding, if so what's a good brand to go with. I've noticed most decks are around the same price so it's harder to gague a good / decent brand. If it was Airsoft or Paintball I could tell ya' a good brand, but not here. I could make assumptions on what a good brand is, such as element? Lets stop here.

If I can keep a complete board around or under $150 that would be great!

    under $150?...Walmart!

edit: I looked into it (to jog my memory) but I can't remember any of my skateboard knowledge. I used to be really into it but it's all gone now .

I suggest going to a Fast Forward store...

    get:

    an FF brand board ($50)

destructo, phantom or grind king trucks ($18-30)

    Alien workshop wheels($30)

I have "Bones Swiss" bearings and they're really nice but if you're just getting into boarding I suggest any decent brand ($10-50)

get the board taped it doesn't cost that much maybe ($5)

any hardware is gunna be cheap also

maybe an extra fee for them building it for you

I no longer skate...but I BMX, its a tad more expensive but I think its worth it...bikes don't break as easily as boards do....

I hope some day we can all put aside our racisms and prejudices and just laugh at people

Are you between 13-18?  Just take the others advice on the gear, skate with friends, skate whenever.

Yeah I'm 17, my friends that skate are around 16-18, only people from school skate that I know of. Hell man, it's the summer! Also thank's for the info.
