Can my PC Play Conan, you think?

I know its still in beta and the system requirements arent final. But i was wondering if my pc can get at least medium quality graphics on AoC. My PC performance is pretty good. I can play BF2142 at max graphics with high framerate and WoW i maintain a 30 fps everywhere even in high populated zones.

Processor: Intel P4 3.3ghz

Ram: 1.5gigz

Video: Radeon x1600 512 PCI-e

If anyone has any insight, plz let me know. Thanks!

Well Funcom have stated if you can play Oblivion then you should be fine in AoC.

To find out if you can run Oblivion - if you don't have the game try this site:

     http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

Click the drop down box, goto The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, It's in Alphebetic order, then have the program run and it tells you which parts of ur computer passes or fails or what else it can do.

Edit: I think you will be just find in playing AoC

You should be able to play it fine. You have a pretty good computer. Even my outdated machine can play any game out there ^^

I've played many games, and the ones that I play change weekly. Currently I am very interested in Gunbound, Poker, and Kwon Ho once more. I am thinking of returning to Maple Story and Ghost Online.

Your ram is a little low based on the dev's last update on the subject. They said they'd be working on getting that requirement lower, but you may end up having to buy an extra memory stick. Other than that, it looks just fine.

I think he only has three memory slots hence the 1.5GB of system RAM, to upgrade he would have to buy 1024MB memories and I think he needs to have two of the same type but I'm not really sure with those Pentium 4 processors. *shrugs*

So, my suggestion is this: replace your three 512MB memories with three 1024MB memories.

Now you have 3GB of system RAM and that should be enough for most games.

  • Wow what a really useful link. Cheers mate. Will use that from now on. I passed for Oblivion on everything so looks like i'm good to go on AoC. Roll on October ;)
