Hello.
I've tried all the mmorpgs that have any sort of fanbase. What I've come here to ask though is if there is any sort of mmorpgs currently out or in development that have a Ultima Online feel to it, ie housing, the skill system, deep crafting, open-pvp or clan-pvp? I messed around with ROSE Online and Tales of Pirates and Flyff (I understand these games aren't blockbusters) and I think I kind of enjoy the originality these games offer. I understand these games are grindy but they would really create quite amazing games if they had some depth other than grinding. So again, my question to all of you is:
Is there a game out there that feels like UO. Maybe just a Flyff like game with UO features?
I'm probably just really tired and wishing for something good to play since I've been bored recently. I think I've honestly looked at every game that is on the top 40 game list. Anything I might have passed over and didn't notice?
PS -- I'm very tired so If this post doesn't make sense, sorry. Thanks.
Serious death penalties makes every close call an adrenaline rush, and every minor achievement a major victory. This alternative rule-set should be in all MMORPGs.
