This ran really slow, and I've got a extremely good system.

I have a decent system and it ran fine, also I agree it is a little slow to gain levels I played for 2.5 hours and barely got to level 2. Fun time sink though

if it runs slow it must be somethign wrong with ur pc , dont see how this game could run slow .. anyways game looks kinda fun but... i have no clue how to do the 1st mission  , am i supposed to fly around searching for the other ship? theres only stores around and no1 to ask  , im guessing this is the tutarial part and thats why its so empty , ne1 knows what to do

I tried the game, as I've always enjoyed the overhead space mmos (Hostile Space, Star Sonata, and now this I guess xD)  and I must say that at first I was a bit thrown, as there was no tutorial or no indication of what to do.  But I quickly got the basics down after hitting f1 which brought up a basic reference card if you will.  Afterwards I went to a website that was suggested to me ( http://Armadahq.com ) , which contained a rather informative tutorial (still a work in progress) which helped me get the basic understandings of the game down.

As of now, I'm still playing and it seems that the leveling for the game is pretty darn slow (have been on level one for the past hour or so).  So I suppose this gives one plenty of time to get used to the controls/attacks etc.  Aside from this, the game is rather nice looking and very pleasant on the eyes as can be seen in some of the screen shots.  Also from what I've seen so far the game is rather polished as far as bugs go ( haven't seen anything glaringly obvious yet).

Another fun thing to the game seems to be the AI on the mobs.  I've found so far that the mobs will sometimes run for other mobs and then attack you as a group, or try to keep running until there are two or three things attacking you at once and then turn around to attack you.  All the time shooting at you while you try to keep up with it to attack it.  And some of the mobs will actually try to run when they get below a certain amount of armor, which can be annoying at times since you end up getting stuck fighting 2-3 more mobs when trying to kill that one.

But overall the game has been pretty nifty, at least in my experience.

that actually looks good,I like the way the skill system works and you can create your own build.

    Hi

I am playing the game at the moment (Char Name Kai, Talos and Taliaia).

    Interesting game indeed.

Two Sides to choose from United or Imperial.

3 Classes so to speak per side.

Once you hit lvl 10 you can upgrade yourship to a choice of 2 different ships assuming you have the money (Called Influence) and Cargo (Item drops from mobs or through mining crystals or asteroids).

    3 Places people level.

NZ = Neutral Zone. In here you can pvp from lvl 1 upwards.  If you win the round i think you get 2k xp + kills/deaths ratio).  If your side looses the round i think you get 1k xp.

D3 = Delta 3. My experience here is that you can either solo mobs which can be slower especially at lvl 1.  Or you can join groups that find multiple mobs and everyone helps out killing npc armada's.

The Burn = Never been here but i think both races come together and participate in fighting wave upon waves of Armada for xp.

Each time you level you get a skill point to allocate in your ship either to weapons, science, tactical.

Every 4 lvls you get 1 skill point for you captains to use.

Some races have racial specific bonuses i.e. Nomads start off with advancement in weapon making and mining.

All the above info is just based on what i have learnt in the week i have been playing it and may not be 100% correct.

The game imo has a lot of potential and if you get over the slow xp untill lvl 10 (IMO) then it becomes more fun.  For me the Neutral Zone is fun to play.

Would just like to reiterate that I think this is a fun game, easy to pick up and put down. Only quarrel I have with it is I have tried crafting a whole bunch of things and failed, subsequently losing my items. When I finally crafted something my crafting level only went up by one. Also row one ( tier one ) crafting items are only obtainable through mining crystals and asteroids, which are pretty rare themselves.
