Damn hard to find the way to the client.

I am the proud winner of one of the limited keys.



so i did what the mail said, followed the instructions and got to this fileplanet-page.



And there it stops.



It seems like this "free limited beta key" involves a monthly fee to fileplanet, because there is no way i can download the client without paying atleast 3.99$ a month.





this is my first win ever where i have to pay to use the win.



ok, i leave a small window open because there might be a way to download this without paying fileplanet that i havn't found.



But until then.



this smells sh*tty....

    You don't have to pay for fileplanet, they just like to try to tell you that,
    look around for a bit and ask on the beta forum for help and you'll get it, don't worry.

    Played so far: 9Dragons, AO, AC, AC2, CoX, DAoC, DF, DnL, DR, DDO, Ent, EvE, EQ, EQ2, FoMK, FFO, Fury, GW, HG:L, HZ, L1, L2, M59, MU, NC1, NC2, PS, PT, R:O, RF:O, RYL, Ryzom, SL, SB, SW:G, TR, TCoS, MX:O, UO, VG, WAR, WoW...
    It all sucked.

    and there i found it.



    i had to make a search for the file and then press on a key that said "50 latest programs related to Role-Playing" and scroll down the list to No 24, and there it was.





    Damn, they dont make this easy...

    when i pressed the key that said " Download now" that f*****g page where i have to subscribe for a fee shows up again.

    There finally, another 2 pages away i finally found the place where i can download without paying a fee.

    Register for FREE !!! then download it....it cant be that hard .....u just have to read a little . If you dont want to pay 3€ / month then you have to wait ca. 20mins before downloading at fileplanet but first register !! ( 4 free)





    edit: another option is : send me ur betakey

    yup register for free.. just means you have to wait in a q thats all.. i dont think they cap their download speeds or anything like some similar sites do...

    I think the problem that the op is (or was) having is that they were looking on the FP site for the download and it is not listed or searchable... I think K2 and FP wanted this one to be hush hush for us pre-order users.

    Glad you found it! I hope to get a beta key soon too. I've been playing on the Asian english server and really enjoy it. I'm curious to see how the western version is different.

    At their core they are both great games.  I think I like K2's better because it has I get no continental latency and I like all the costumes and the new auto attack thing they added.

    But, sgGE is a lot of fun too.  Just wish all the events weren't at 3am my time. lol
