Hello,

I would like a few questions answered please, in your own opinions, which races/classes are the best combinations and are worth pursuing?

Also-any guilds want me? lol

Thanks :)

Shit dude, i remember our discussions on EQ2 before it came out, we flooded these forums over 3 years ago

So you wanna come back eh?

Well race/class combo dont really make any difference.  Races have no impact on any class you pick so you may as well pick a race you like the look of.

Certain races DO receive bonuses for tradeskills. That would be the only difference and of course would only matter if you plan to do a lot of crafting.

    Hell

Pick a race and class and go for it.  All classes are increadibly well balanced and there are really no real bad races for classes because there is a minimal amount of starter attributes that dont matter by tier 2 anyways.

I had an Ogre Wizard once and loved it!

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

if you liketo PVP i suggest you a halfling swashy or a human fury.

if you like soloing erudite illusionist rocks (but hi level mages sucks for PVP, so be careful)

Races don't really show any noticable difference in different classes, but the classes vary depending on what you want to do, here's my opinion on classes:

    Best solo:

Necro, Conjurer, Illy, Fury, Zerker, ShadowKnight

    Best damage:

    Ranger/Assasin, Wizard/Warlock

    Best PvP solo:

    Fury, Necro, Swashy

    Best Group PvP:

    Warden, Conjurer, Guardian, Warlock

But really it all depends on how you like to play. For example healers have great survivability but they don't kill as fast, this isnt for me. All my classes are DPS and I have one tank and one bruiser for a mix of survivability/damage.

Also for PvP: furies are probably the most insane class you'll come across but if you get them right they're a sitting duck - it all depends on the person behind the char (as well as gear and AA ^^)
