    There is plenty to do to get you to 50 without issue. This game has only got better since launh.
    The fact that you "need to know where to look" for the quests, in my opinion, is a terrible design flaw.  I play games because I want to have fun with the content, not spend hours just to find the content.

    I'm glad to hear the game is starting to get better. I am looking forward to the SoE revamp- I hope they make the quests easier to find so people will actually be able to try these hidden quests you speak about and, maybe, start enjoying the game experience.

    My PC could barely run the game (P4C 2.8, Radeon 9800pro, 1GB Ram) without tuning the graphic settings down to a very sad looking thing, not even speaking of frequent crashes, environmental bugs, omnipresent freezes and lags etc... this game really lacked the professional polish you can expect from a pay per month game.
    Anyway, I leveled 5 characters up to 10-15, and really enjoyed the fact each class has its own gameplay and the skill/combo/counter system looked very promising to me.
    I might get back to it when I'll update my rig, depending on other MMOG released in the meantime.
          Just to jump in here, I myself dont play Vanguard ATM , left at level 33 Cleric , needed to save $ so lowered my MMO's down to 2 games ( CoX and EQ2 ) , in no way am i knocking the game or praising just prolly tossing out knowledge you already know since you mentioned you plan on upgrading,  but the reason you might be having significant problems is because your P4C( which i assume is abbreviation for Celeron) chipset is a horrid chip , it has no level 1 cache which is very important in a CPU, you dont want alot but you want some ( its slow in any and every application your doing ) the radeon 9800pro is a great AGP card aside from the new HD release 9800 is one of the better IMO, but its still AGP :p ( FYI - i own one on my 2nd comp and it runs most MMO's beautifully ) and lastly 1GB isnt gonna run most any game on the market right now to your comps optimal ,  you'd be amazed at what even 1 more GB can do for performance, mem's your cheapest and easiest way to improve your comp. please don't shoot the messanger if its knowledge you already knew  and if you are looking into upgrading DO NOT, i REPEAT DO NOT go DELL -vil or any propriety system for that matter lol, they lock most of your systems BIO's which any amataur can play with after warranty to OC and some of thier parts are specially made ( MB's, cases ) so you cant even rip and gut to put in another system and reuse, ask around or see what mom and pop comp stores in your area are good OR  If you'd like send me an e-mail i can hook you up with a few addy's on cheap C2duo or even quad core comps since in july the quad cores are going down to 250~$ in other words top of the line comp build for 400-800~ bucks. so if you or any one you know are tech savvy enough to build a comp you can save mega $$$$.

    I played a shaman from release into the mid twenties and then gave up the game. I was a bit bored this weekend and did something funny. I rolled a new character. I even roled a gimped disciple. And guess what ? I am having a lot of fun. The start is so very well though out and scripted. Everything seems finished.. the story of a disciple seeking a  new master (Tanvu) is deep and real entertaining.

    I do know that there migth be some unfinished and ugly roadblockers beyond lvl25. Thats why i keep it low. Just play one or two days a week and i dont grind. Maybe the game grows faster as my character. Crafting changed btw. and feels a bit better now. Game is stable over a session of 5 hours. No CTDs at all.

    Really, this game is good. It just is full of glitches and bugs and its unfinished. But the first 15-20 levels are great and tell a story about its potential :)

    I disagree. I like looking for quests. I don't want my quests spoon fed to me tyvm. If I wanted that...I'd play my xbox or an offline game. In fact...If I don't find any quests I like in a particular area...I make my own. * gasp *

    That's why I like Vanguard...it's a big ole sandbox I can do just about anything I want too.

    @Boognis75 :

    My P4 is a pentium, not a celeron, the C stands for the quad pumped 200 = 800 Mhz FS bus, it has 512k of L2 cache. But your comments are very true, a celeron would have been the real bottleneck for my PC.

    Anyway, you are totaly right when stating that a jump from 1 to 2 GB Ram would clearly boost the performances while playing Vanguard, which is very demanding in the RAM domain.

    Right now I've got 4x250Mo RAM, and I don't feel like investing in 2 x 1Gb Ram because my barebone is getting obsolete and needs a deep revamp (PCI express + fast RAM + core 2duo compliant mobo, new PSU etc etc).

    I'm planning to do so in september, I totaly agree with your upgrade advices :)
