I kinda want to start COH again..

Couple things I want to know.

I played a little less than a year ago.

Has fighting changed drastically?

Did the invention system ever start?



I had a lvl 20 I think SS/Inv. Tank before.

    Nope, fighting is roughtly the same.  Some powers have been "adjusted".

     

    The invention system is in full place, it add some looting/crafting to the game.  It is neat IMO, but it isn't much, it is mostly a focus for peoples who are looking to get each and every bonus they can.

    I recently returned to the game due to the 14 day trial MMORPG had.  I left after CoV came on-line with the ED ner....er, changes.  While combat hasn't changed other than power adjustments, the invention system is pretty darn cool.  You can get costume pieces, temp powers, bonuses for slotting enhancement sets, etc.  Some of my "gimped" characters are playable again. 

    Use the trial, if it is still around.

    I haven't messed with the invention system yet but it can be used as a tool to get extremely rich if you loot the rare materials and sell out the "Auction house"
