Buddy Keys?

I've been looking at MxO for a while, as i like the sci-fi style of it.



And, of course, I'd like to try it out before subscribing to a monthly fee.... only to find out that I have to bug some people that already play for Buddy Keys in order to get a trial.



What type of promotion is this? If this game is going downhill like they say, wouldn't it make more sense to just have a free-for-all trial where we don't have to troll forums etc. to get our own keys? It would make more people willing to give it a shot, in my opinion.

SOE isn't interested in marketing this game with permanent free trials for everyone. Because of not much being done in this game it wouldn't be a good idea. With a permanent free trial, everybody would know the game is hopeless.

Keep the fanbois and offer their buddies free trials.

MxO perma trial has been pretty much confirmed as coming with the launch of the new sony game launcher. No ETA past 'summer' since the SOE podcast covering it though im afraid.
