They just keep adding RNPC's

Been a long time since i've posted here.   Been busy, recently picked up playing krGE again.  Hopped on test server to find out there are additional quest.  (Some have been reworked and have different steps)  To my surprise there were also new RNPC's to be had.

Sorry about using the low end client, but when I have Bitcomet running in background I use the low end client instead of the high end client to reduce lag.  Got to keep those share ratio's up.

Irawan and Angie

The male is named Irawan and starts out at level 1 at creation.  He begins with 3 stances, all melee.  He's much like Gracelio, having 2 Punch stances and 1 kick stance.   But unlike Gracelio he starts with all 3.   Both punch stances can be used from the start.   The kick can't be used till 40 because as you know there are no leg guards that are below 40 currently.  (At least if there is I haven't found them, and I didn't see them in any of the recipes for item creation)

The female is named Angie.  She begins with the Trap Stance, Construction Stance, and Structure Stance.   Construction of course allows you to build.  Turrets and Siege turrets.  As well as 2 types of wards.  The regen ward which plops down a tower that gives everyone within the radius of it, the ability to regen quicker then normal.   The other ward is the safety ward which bumps up your resistances to the elements (if memory is correct the only stat it doesn't boost is spiritual).  It also allows her to create fences.   Her other stance is the Structure stance.  It allows her to create Spike Traps, Rotating Blade structures (picture 4 big swords being swung around by a pole), and fences.   It also allows her to create improved rotating blade structures.  (Picture 8 big swords being swung around by a pole ) Oh yeah she begins at level 20 when you create her.

There have been alot of other updates as well that I won't get into right now.  I'm not big on typing, sorry.

Irawin is also in the closed beta version of Sword of the New World:Granado Espada. However his quest requires 10 soul crystals, and nobody knows where to get those heh.

Soul Crystals are bought in the item shop.  So i'm not sure how they are going to work them into a retail GE.  How are things going with the Beta so far?  I keep hearing bad things.....

Bad things about SotNW or sgGE.  Honestly, I haven't heard bad things about either really.  Both are giving lag (depending on you locatoin), SotNW has some bad translations, but K2 has been really open about what their known issues are (they even put them on their main webpage.  The only bad thing about sgGE I can think of is their translations and possibly the afk thing.  But in general both are great games.

SotNW has a new Character Creation, so you can chose up to 12 or 13 costumes per class.  There are a LOT more quests and they added this auto-defend mode so you don't have to press spacebar all the time.  Just click to move an your guys auto attack... but the mode may be a little buggy.  A lot of people are complaining about getting d/c for being afk even when they aren't.  BUT you can turn it off so thats nice :)  personally I like it... and I haven't once been d/c while being at the keyboard... but K2 and IMC are working on it.

As for sgGE they have a pretty cool community... but everything happens at like 3am for me... so... it kinda sucks.  And there are a lot of people on the forums who don't like people who are not SEA.  Which sucks too.  And dear GOD... don't put the letters K and 2 in the same sentence or you will be mocked into air.  BUT if  you are in game, there are a lot of cool peeps and the game is MUCH closer to IMCs vision of the game.

I don't know, they both are really good...

So far you are the only person i've heard say something positive.  This gives me more hope.  Sounds like people are turning small beta problems into large problems.

Edit:  That boy Irawan is a beast.  After I hit 40 with him I dropped him into a group with Idge (40) and Emilia (40).  Gave Idge a Spear, left Emilia in First Aid.   Man him and Idge tore through mob after mob, even after Emilia had died.  (Location: Port Bello: Ruined Cliff 46 - 53 zone)  Between his Chapter of Fire, Earth, and Wind stances.  He can pretty much crush his enemies in a few hits.   Not even going to get started on how much death Idge was causing with the +5 spear.

Well since I've decided to definately play the North American version.  Definately looking forward to obtaining him.
