Its actually not just a pirate game. It just has pirate in the title, and no they wern't going for the whole Pirates of the Caribbean thing. This game has been in the working for 5 years. This game is evenly based on all four nations. I hope people won't think that this game is based on pirates because its not. If people think that it is, then when it gets released, there will just be a whole bunch of pirates in the game, and hardley any of the other three nations. Its gonna get kinda of sucky to be a pirate since everyone else is gonna be one. I hope this doesn't happen. Because I don't think other players will like it to be kinda one-sided. Even though they have implemented systems into the game so that the war over ports is not won due to number of people sailing for each nation.
Oh, and don't call me a hipacrit (spelling), but I'll definitley be sailing underneath the Jolly Roger. I've been following this game for a while, and even before so wished for a game that I could live out the days of pirates. Lo and Behold, here it is. Pirates of the Burning Sea. This game is gonna, be, SWEEEEEEEET!!!!
I will be British. Maybe Spanish if bring in Mel brooks as the Inquistor. (Just got done watching History of the World Part I, and the Inquisition skit is probably one of the funniest skits in comedy.)
How long will it be before you see Ghost/Stealth ships. no sense having a Pirate/thief without stealth.(PvP fubar). Green Achers is the place to be. (chuckles)
Don't forget about the healing ships, the tank ships, and the offensive caster ships.

Also I have a french joke which may be able to adapt to ships, something about the new french tanks having 6 gears, 5 for reverse and one forward incase of assault from the rear. OMFG RACIST!!! sad.

heheeh its not all about dumb pirates! I would be any sort of mariner including a privateer, naval officer and buccaneer. I also would like to try the ways of a bounty hunter on another character.
And I chose British because I wish to become a British navigator in this game. Like how James Cook was respected by all countries even in the Revolutionary War.
In fact every spanish speaking country in the world have the same kinds of traditional food... Oh wait. Traditional food in Spain is sea food mostly and if i am not mistaken paella... Well not quite the same as taco right?
