They're so much better than normal models don't you think? They should make one for Kerra as well tho, getting tired of my face being dull and not shining like all the other alternate models I use.

    Fae's don't have SOGA either... hmmm, I think it's a conspiracy...

    One of the things I never liked about the SOGA models is that almost no one actually bothered to set them up for their chars, so they would look random and ugly for most people.

    Not me, when I create a character, I do the SOGA model, and the regular model. And when I go to the "barber" I adjust both.

    After playing EQ2 for some time, I still can't decide which I like more. The original models have that alive and warm feeling to them, while the SOGA are very stylized, have far better hairstyles, and some armor looks better on them.



    Honestly, if they just made some better hairstyles for the original models I'd be happy with them and forget about SOGA as I feel the SOGA bodies are kind of bad. Of course, all of this is personal preference.

    I wouldn't plat EQ2 without the SOGA models now lol The original character models faces look lumpy and just plain ugly in comparison.

    Personally I only use the SOGA models for my ogre, and not for any of my other characters, but hey, more options are better. If people like them, use them.

    Originally I only used it for my human and half elf monk, cos they looked dodgy, but then it looked weird seeing a SOGA model next to the normal models of everyone else in the party/raid/city so I just fucked it and turned them all on.

    I can't stand anime, especially anime hair, I'm a bit of a high fantasy purist...so I really dislike the alternatives. However, the alternative Ogre definitely looks a lot better than the regular, original one.
