If I wasn't happy were I was I'd go with The chronicles of Spellborn.

best part is the twitch kiddies that want a  shooterish  PvP MMO will ignore it.

    WURM PWNZORS EVERYTHING.

Yes.  I'm the type of gamer who buys em all though.

Collectors or Limited Editions if they're selling them.

Wit all the crappy games out their, im going to be tryin EVE, AOC. amd POTBS  but

really all are placeholders till WAR comes out.  IF WAR suks im done wit mmo's till something that changes the genreation comes along.

After quiting wow to play what was not Advertised as a wow clone, Lotro im fed up wit this crappy Lvl/quest grind mode crap that these companies are putting out.

WAR, AOC and Pirates better fullfull my need of pvp or its back to CS;S, and team killing in socom 3 till halo 3.

Gods & Heroes for sure, but I'm also gonna try AoC though.
  • kalanthiskalanthis Member Posts: 111

I'm enjoying LOTRO at the moment, but level 50 is not too far away so I'm keeping an open mind.

I don't think my year and a half year old PC will play AOC..if it does I will pick it up...it looks amazing for those who can run it.

I'm really dissapointed with the gameplay demos I've seen for warhammer. Looks like WOW except possibly even more cartoony IMO. I'll probably try it, but it's going to have to run ok and there is going to have to be a hell of a lot of dark humour to keep me interested.

Tabula Rasa looks interesting. Got to give it credit for doing something new...will definitely try it.

lol, you need more options, and to only include definite game release. (that's my opinion)

well i voted TR as it most likely going to be this year (and hopefully on the date stated at ebgames, although being in aus it doesn't help me)

    i'm still undecided about SotNW

I'll probably end up getting them all, but I voted TR for the one I'm most interested in.  I already have 2 copies pre-ordered.

no wonder why companies are happy to make junk games.  people buy them anyways, and buy them all.

I voted for Warhammer Online but I want to check out AoC and maybe a couple others but WAR is the game I am most waiting to check out that has the soonest release date.

I'll be trying AoC, and WAR along with Chronicles of Spellborn but AoC is the one i'm most interested in at the moment. May also give Pirates a bash if none of those ones live up to expectations.

    CoH/CoV - D-Zol/Kinslayer
    Auto Assault - Slayer
    WoW, LOTRO, DDO - Kinsul
    Matrix Online - Tempest

Gods and Heroes looks fun,  as does WAR and AoC

I am going to buy Age Of Conan, Chronicles of Spellborn, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Warhammer Online.  I might buy Tabula Rasa... something about it though doesn't peek my interest very much.

I am thinking that Gods and Heroes looks wonderful so that will definitely be on the list, along with POTBS. Both look like they could be different enough to be enjoyable. I am hoping that someone would make a game with real char ownership like the old SWG with the skill system rather than a level grind, that's the only reason I didn't buy LOTRO, after WOW I don't think I can handle another, lol.

I couldn't vote because my answer is most likely "none of the above". I might try Darkfall though, depending, if it does go gold.

I never liked levelling games in the first place. They don't even follow the old system of D+D, they simply made levelling too much of the games.

I will buy WAR becuz of the gameplay and the cool cartoony graphic ^^
  • keygankeygan Member Posts: 237

AoC then WAR.  I think the others will be left in the dust.  I wish GnH and TCoS would of came out earlier so I could of tried them, but I guess I will wait for AoC and have fun with that til WAR.

highly looking forward to stargate...I hope they dont BORK it.

definately going to try warhammer, gods and heroes and conan, then will stick with the one i like best.

Pirates of the burning sea gameplay doesnt really impress me as of yet.  the game isnt polished enough to make a decision yet.  was looking forward to it until i tried it.  its descent but it plays alot like sid miers Pirates!...why pay to play a game ive been playing for free?

TBH ill try all of them. I am eagerly waiting on AoC and so far it seems like the title i want to play the most. But the MMO player in me has the urge to try out each and every one of those games. So i will buy all of them and give each at least its free month. All of those games seem to bring something new to the table and their releases seem to be somewhat spread out by a month or more so itl gimme a chance to truly see what their all about.

gods and heroes and warhammer . I'd like to try TCoS too.

What is up with you people who buy every MMO coming out!? You all must be really well off if you can afford that.

It isn't like they all come out at the same time.  50 dollars every couple of months isn't that bad for a hobby.

    Currently playing:
LOTRO & WoW (not much WoW though because Mines of Moria rocks!!!!)

    Looking Foward too:
Bioware games (Dragon Age & Star Wars The Old Republic)

Well im certainly not rich but when my only expenses are cell phone/school books then i suppose i can afford 50 bucks every month or so. All of those games seem to offer something unique and id like to try em out myself. Its no different than buying regular console games on a regular basis.

Age Of Conan,Gods and Heroes, Pirates of the Burning Sea,Tabula Rasa,Warhammer Online.

If I had to pick one I would go with Pirates of the Burning Sea just because it's different.
