A Dark sci-fi MMO

I like sci-fi.......i like mmorpgs..........i like dark and evil things.........so do a lot of many people

Ive been looking for a good sci-fi mmo for a while and i havent been able to find one, ive played SWG which i loved! cause i like star wars but i didnt hate the combat and the world looked a bit, i dunno seemed a bit to big how far everything was from each other and the buildings seemed to small along with the charcters, i played EvE LOVED it also! but got bored of it, but i still think its a fantastic game, and ive played AO which was weird and i didnt like the combat that much and how everything worked.

Anyway i really want an orginal sci-fi mmorpg which is a bit more darker if ya getting me?

So many companys keeping chcuking out these fantasy games when they could make an awesome sci-fi game!!

i am thinking of TR or Huxley but i dont want instanced game play, for GW i think instancing is awesome and one of the main reasons why i play it! but i also want a sci-fi persistant world mmorpg something where it feels like a real world, i can see space ships launching into the sky, i can see space bunnys hopping around eating grass! i wont it to feel like a real world !!!

and of course it has to be orginal and not over the top and plain stupid!

I agree with you completely, dark sci-fi is one of my favourite genres and at the moment there is nothing out there that even comes close. I played AO years ago and went off it pretty quick, SWG got an equally short shrift. Eve was cool in its own funny way, but not really what I was after.

I will be interested to see how TR and Huxley turn out, they both look like they could be good but I'm not sure that either of them will be groundbreaking. There is Fallen Earth as well, this still seems a long way off and again I'm not convinced it will be amazing.

It's a shame because I thought SWG was going to be the sci-fi world to rule them all, a real world, ships taking off, planets, interstellar travel and combat as well as planet based coolness. I thought I would never need to play another MMO, how wrong can you be?

I with you on this one mate, we'll just have to keep waiting

umm not really. you dont half to aim for one it auto aims. you cant strafe to dodge bullets thats 2. how is it an FPS? and its definitely not a twitch game.

Yeh was thinking of play CoV at one time but its not that sci-fi like in the future with aliens and on other planets and stuff

Interplay is working on a Fallout MMO which should hopefully fit into this market nicely.  Fallen earth looks like to could be good to.
