Tried alot of other mmorpg's but World of Warcraft is the best imo.

Not the most realistic graphics but the game runs smooth as silk on my system.

Even grinding is fun.

Plus it has alot of content and loot. 

BC didn't add and new classes but at least it gives you something to look forward to besides raids when you hit 60.

 

There are a few things that make the game dull.

The game seams to have alot of gold sellers now I got a few tells the last few times I played trying to sell me gold or powerleveling services. Just about any blizzard game I have ever played has had these guys. It wouldnt suprise me at all to know that people working at or with blizzard are the ones selling items / gold and powerleveling. Also have seen bots or people using some kind of automated addon that is like a trainer.

I haven't met many people yet but most people I have are either can't play well, want me to help them with quests, or are really annoying. I guess the normal people are to busy being normal to get noticed.

Every once in a while someone will randomly invite me to a guild or a group as if they were drawing my name out of a hat.

General chat doesn't hardly exsist anymore. Just yesterday I was playing and was shocked to see someone acctually typed something in general "It's to quite out here" they proclaimed as if trying to mend the silence. Honestly after about two minutes of the idiotic chatter that followed I missed the silence.

Whilst the level cap was raised to 70 and sure you can solo all the way. It turns out there really isn't much to do but raid at level 70. Sure you can farm motes etc solo, but it does get boring. Which is why I quit. Now if the level cap was something half decent like 100 or 150 then I'd still be playing. But getting from 60 to 70 took me about 3 weeks and I wasn't evening playing that much. I like the graphics, the items and general the whole game. But for me it's just to easy to level up and hit that level cap. Then there is nothing to do unless you like raids, which I dont.



In reply to your points about it being dull. Try a different server. There are large differences between them. I tried a few after maxing a couple of characters and I noticed some servers were very quiet. Some servers have more idiots on than others. Some have poorly stocked AHs whereas others are over flowing. The server you play on will have a big impact on how you view the game.

Content as in places to go and things to do like quests and diffrent types of monsters.

Sure it has it's limitations but there is still alot to do as far as quests , faction , rep ,crafting and killing.

There may only be one "best" zone or area for your current level but there are choices.
