Attracting the least mature adults? Maybe its just me reading post after post on different forums about seeing "boobies and blood" ...really mature.

    I would disagree, I think you will find the official forums a decent and "Mature" place to hang out.

    But your post does hint at negativity, especially coming from a WAR fan who just made a topic asking -  "how was your life changed?" because WAR got 7.4 on anticipated.

    and I think age of conan and warhammer online will attract 2 differenct types of players: warhammer online will attract the younger ones who love world of warcraft

    and age of conan will attract adults who are looking forward to something more complex and innovative like pre-cu star wars galaxies was

    I'm looking for something more complex :)

    Both the blood and the boobies are very much an important part of properly bringing Robert E Howards world to life. It was part of the pulp genre of the time. If you have read any of the comics, the books, the short stories or seen any of the artwork you would understand this. This is far from a case of us deciding we were going to make Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball with combat and decapitation. Blood and boobs are just about as much a part of Conan as the Orcish WAAAGH is to Warhammer.

    Ha!, if you think this game is graphic, you should read the books.  Also like the dev stated above they are trying to keep the game as close to the books as possible, so naturally there will be blood and boobs.

    i'm sick of cute MMOs with elves and shit, with all their rainbow-ish special effects and carebear toons.



    I want AoC to be like in comics - dark, brutish setting with blood and gore, nudity and death.

    its rated m because it has blood in it.  if it had boobs it would be rated a or whatever.  if people like to talk about that stuff let them. who doesnt like boobs? who doesnt like bloody and gory games?  its human nature we like these kind of stuff.
