True Roleplaying in an MMO?

Se_arSe_ar Member Posts: 74
Does anyone know of any MMOs, beside the basic EQ and UO that actually have some moderate Roleplaying communities? I do know that this has been posted before, so please don't flame me on the matter. I've tried out different suggestions such as Ragnarok Online (what the heck was I thinking on that one) and even Star Wars: Galaxies (same) for roleplaying purposes yet none of these titles has yet to come to any such expectation of Roleplaying. (On a side note: I am very aware that Neverwinter Nights has a tremendous Roleplayer following, yet I just want suggestions on MMOs please.) Thank you all for your suggestions.

Horizons has two RP servers I believe and from my understanding they take it very seriously (No using OCC before you type in general chat, etc)  I do know they have some very good RP guilds.

I've seen alittle bit of RP on all the mmorpgs I've played, but the best was in Star Wars Galaxies on the Kettemoor server.  There were many roleplayers there.

In City of Heroes, the Virtue server seems to be a very active roleplaying community.  I am enjoying it there.

Although I spent very little time in Horizons, I did notice a few roleplaying guilds around in Expanse server.

You'll have a difficult time finding roleplayers in Final Fantasy XI, although they are there . . .

Finally, if you like Everquest, Fironia Vie is the best server for RP in my opinion.

(People say Anarchy Online has a very good roleplaying community, but I wouldn't suggest trying that mmorpg).

Actually Dark Age of Camelot is pretty good for Role Playing.

I have heard a great deal of how emmersive the RP is on the dedicated servers for Horizons.

I would try there above anywhere else if true RP is what you are looking for.image

Well alright, since I appear to be getting Horizons sometime soon (no bragging meant, seriously) I'll try out the RP community there.

Most  mmorpg does have people who role-play. It's depends mostle on the server you are on, and the group of player you play with. Korean mmorpg doesn't role-play though.
