People leaving in droves

You could substitute VG for Horizons in that thread. They even had 4 servers just like VG will have soon. There is even some WoW bashing in there like the VG faithful like to do. That was even before WoW was out.
They mention dried up sales. This week VG is ranked 3,908 in video game sales on Amazon. By comparison LoTR is 105. Everquest1 is 232. The only difference here is that for some reason SOE will keep a server or two up and running like they do for their other games (with the exception of EQ2 of course).
$10 to the first post that tells us the Amazon sales are no indication of the games sales. We can then use this thread to compare the next MMO failure to.
When VG is not fun anymore i'll have my AoC or WAR. What more can i say?

On topic: More rhetoric from both sides, neither of which is supported by documented evidence. I'm having fun, despite playing a dragon, and I see new players every night. On the other hand, lots of people seem to be leaving, at least from what's here, on the forums.
However, it's still true that the unsatisfied are louder than the content.
