Best gaming laptop... opinions please!

Beginning with I'm not looking to spend 4 grand on a laptop - in your opinion, what is the best gaming laptop for your money out there now?

I know that ideally I need to have a desktop for the best performance for gaming, however, due to my other needs - I'm thinking I  have to get a laptop. I had a HP ZD8000, but that recently broke at the AC power connection on the motherboard, and they tell me it's to expensive to just not get another one. So that leaves me looking at getting another one...

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    ibuypower.com has some nice looking laptops that seems awesome =) not too high also.

    Be cool to people, and try and stay cool that way you never have to regret making someone feel bad. Don't take what ya got granted because some people never get to feel happy. We get to play these great MMOs and surf a good site. Be thankful for what ya got and next time ya feel down imagine a fat sea otter waddling with a pillow and a night cap. Bam! smiles!

    Get a cheap thin and light notebook with a screen smaller than 14" for $600-$900.  The smaller and lighter the better.  Use that for mobile use and not for games.



    Then spend $1500 on a desktop gaming rig.



    That will be less money than a gaming laptop and better suited for what you want.  Gaming laptops suck at both things.  They eat batteries for breakfast (less than an hour or two of battery time), they are heavy, and they still are not as good as desktops for gaming.
