Anybody got any trial keys left? I used to play CoH, and well.. now I'm bored and remembering how fun the game was (even if for a short time) but looking at CoV to maybe get a "new" feeling. I stoped playing CoH around Issue 6, so it's been some time, lol.

Setting up right now, I'll prolly go CoH for the trial to get a feel for the game's evolution and also because I know the content all the way up to Hamidon. So I'll be able to level faster and see more content in the limited time of the trial. Btw I assume we can transfer or keep toons if we decide to purchase the game? Also do you recommend buying the Good vs Evil edition if we decide to keep playing? or do we have to regardless?
If you do decide to convert to a paying account, you get to keep all your characters. I would highly recommend getting the GvE edition as it gives you access to both sides for cheaper than getting the games individually. In addition, you also get a couple of really nice added bonuses, 2 GvE exclusive costumes, a Jumppack Temp Power and a Pocket D Temp Teleport Power. The Jumppack is helpful for getting around until you can do the first Safeguard/Mayhem Mission for the temp Jetpack.
I do recommend getting both games though, because that gives you access to Supergroup Bases. While they didn't live up to everything Cryptic had planned, they are still very nice features. Between the Salvage Storage, Enhancement Storage, Inspiration Storage, Worktables, Teleporters, there are some real benefits in the bases. You need CoV to be able to access them though.
For the money if you do decide to play, GvE is the best choice.
Currently downloading the client, gonna give it a whirl the next couple of days. Last time I played, I stuck around for a few months, then got bored.
CoX is an awesome game, but couldn't really hold my attention for a long term MMO.. maybe this trial will allow me to see all the stuff thats changed and I can call it my home.

i've been playing WoW for only two months and i am piss bored of it! it is a very annoying game at times!
i am really attracted to the character appearance customization in CoH/CoV, which is practically non-existant in WoW.
By the way, i think i would need an EU one, because i'm form the UK, dunno if US keys would work or not (?). Would really like to try City of Villains rather than Heroes.
Special double box set comes out on the 27th on Play.com but i'm not sure i wanna buy it before i can try it.
