Some screenshots after i got a new PC.

Got a new PC and a 22" wide screen monitor and took a few screenshots once in a while.

Didn't buy a top of the line PC but as long as i can play LOTRO as the screenshots show then i'm happy

    Just looking at them screenshots remind me why i quit this game.

    But anyway,  nice sized monitor, considering buying myself one... 17" here

    I say, nice pictures,

    But you seriously need to switch on Anti-aliasing, I went blind because of the small saw-edges everywhere... I can't handle a game w/o AA anymore! (19'' LCD)

    Edit: I have checked more now, and these must be taken at a medium or even lower settings. The texture is lowres, there are almost no reflections. On my PC the game runs on medium, with high tex res and high reflections (blob shades only), but it looks much much better than these....

    All screenshots are taken in ultra high resolution with very high textures and ultra high reflections turned on.

    In some screenshots i have 8x AA turned on and turned off in others.

    All shadows are turned off (Landscape,blob and stencil shadows)

    Running windows Vista and the graphicscard is a PX8600gt.

    I looked in my folder to make sure i had the high res files installed (1,8 GB)



    Sure you are viewing them in the original resolution?

    You might have to click one more time on them to enlarge them even more as they are taken in 1680x1050.



    Which specific screenshots did you expect to see more reflections in?



    There is one thing that makes me wonder though.

    They said in the patch notes that they made the snow much cooler looking and i can't see any difference at all after last patch/update.

    My edges arn't are jaggy as that, i think AA goes to x16

    If he turned on anti-aliasing it wouldn't make a diffrence,it's the low res/screenshot size.

    People all have different taste in what kind of art they like. Personally I like the wow graphics cause I like the cartoony unique styles of them. It is just a opinion though no need for insults.

     Matty545 and sgtwepps try clicking the screenshot to their original size will help with your edges on your screen
