Well I noticed that every class has a very specific look. My fear is that these looks will prevent diversity within each class. For example, I have only seen one look for the Bright Wizard and the Warrior Priest. I notice other classes very limited in what they can do and their looks within game. Does anyone else notice this?

As for all BW looking like BW yeah thast gonna happen as for if there will be any difference in armor looks ... i hope so .. only asian mmos do a total level based equipment style... it would suck if WAr did that. But i know character looks and armor slots are customizable (ie addign spikes flames, skulls, bones, etc etc etc) to armor in differnt places is player chosen as you get items in the game (ie items you can strap on your character for thier apperence).

The devs have said that if you put 20 characters of the same rank and class together none will look the same.
THey really have not shown much diversity in the screenshots so far but I imagine that here fairly soon we will start seeing some different stuff.
Give it time my children... give it time!
Probably too soon to tell, I would think customization might be one of the last things they finalize, as the focus right now should be on the combat mechanics and gameplay....

That is one of WAR's fundamental design principles that has been repeated in interviews. Immeadiate identification of your opponents is likely something Mythic considers important for PvP.
I think by 'basic' they meant nothing like sliders to change the shape of your nose, which no one will ever see anyway.
The art leads have said that they prefer to give players more readily obvious options (head types etc) rather than lots of little, barely-noticable tweaks.
