I love AMC

Some cable stations show what is cheap or popular.  Then you have a few stations on cable that actually show good old movies.  AMC seems to be one of them.  Thanks god someone has the insight to air good old movies.

I agree but they have been slacking over the past few years. There used to be a time when they showed the whole movie with out interuption, now they are they same as any other channel with all the commercials. None the less it is a great station and they do show alot of great movies.

are you kidding me?? last nights line up was terminator 3 followed by catwoman. keep in mind the stations name is american movie classics! its not going down hill its at the damn bottom. Now turner movie classics has the goods.

I heard that alot about TMC but in my area you have to subscribe to it, so my question is are the movies commercial free?

it is commercial free but keep in mind the movies are old classics and not always popular titles. depends on the price and your tastes. id visit the website or find someone in your area who has it to preview. cant be subscription only on cable and satelite?
