Darkfall terrain graphical update!

Tasos was talking about a terrain graphical update (they updated player models not long ago) and this is it. What do you think?

Can anyone bitch about the graphics?
I mean really this + DF's features including FPS combat + seamless game world = Awesome gaming experience.

The DF graphics looks amazing as always
I agree.....almost.
AoC and DF have the best "feeling" i have seen so far in the upcomming MMOs.
Not bad looking visuals, looks a little bland in places and the shadows don't quite seem right.
Although I will say they do look alot better than the last time I checked the game out.
Lets hope they fix the annimation up.
This game, quite simply put, is immense. And yes, with the recent graphical updates I would be amazed if they could realease a game like this with even those graphics. The graphical style reminds me a lot of The Elder Scrolls III, but the gameplay is even much more immense than the Elder Scrolls Series.
DnL was immense in terms of size and look what happened to it. I'm not slating your game, but don't count your chickens before they hatch. EvE online is seamless with a huge server cluster capacity and it was released almost 4 years ago and it's graphics are on par with DarkFall
New artwork is a huge improvement but i'm still not holding my breath for the game to make it to a meaningful release date. The graphics seem ok now, but when this game actually gets near release, will they have to update the graphics once more?

Was making me hopeful until I got to:

So one update and then right back to silence. While I am a little more optimistic of the game actually making it to release (and I want it released, I had follewed this game for quite a while until the complete silence hit) I will still be surprised if an actual specific release date is ever set (as it it went gold).
"We're hiring a QA lead to formalize our QA process, we're looking for yet another Game Logic programmer, we've been outsourcing some secondary art tasks out, and we've also re-hired Nick, a very talented artist, who had taken a short break. We're also in the search for another good world-builder to help with cleaning up quests"
When a Dev is saying this it means they are in *EARLY* development. This game couldn't be released for years, if ever, if this is the state of their affairs.
Not trolling, just pointing out the obvious.
We can only hope they are doing some last updates before going to beta, as Age of Conan and Pirates of the Burning Sea just did.
And we all love updates.

I am glad age of conan is coming out it will be good for people that cant handle Darkfall, they can go play Darkfall Lite aka Age of Conan.
if DF looks liek that when released then hand down to them they have done a good revamp of the engine.. but i remember awesome screens from DnL.. played it recently and OMG looks nothing liek the screens they put out..
Lets hope darkfall pulls it off..
