in F2P MMOs; what kind of premium items you think is worth buying for?

in Free 2 Play MMORPGs they usually sell premium items or cash shop items as their source of income...

then what premium items or what kind of premiums items you think  is worth buying for?...

*you can also create your own ideal premium items... just dont forget to indicate its use and effects...

honestly i would have to go with none (ive always thought item shop games were kind of missing the point of gaming, its just for fun yanno?)

but the worst in my mind are the items that are like "double experience for 1/2 an hour" and stuff like that, those are just begging for someone to go buy thousands

i agree with you... some cash shop items that some MMORPGs sell aren't useful anymore... like what you said, the cash items that grants  x2 exp. that i bought on their cash shop when i played FLYFF, i never felt the x2 exp. during the entire duration of the item...  it seems like i've just wasted my money...

the only item that i felt worth it to buy is their upcut stone, which gives additional 20% attack power...

anyways i think that item shops should have items that arent uber, but rather fun items that arent nessesary but would enhance your play

like if the game had player houses that you could buy in an item shop, but it wouldnt really gimp you to not buy a house

Rule of thumb, never ever play a ftp if it has an item shop.  You will eventually be scammed out of your cash to continue playing.

Everyone of these games require item shop purchases to advance beyond a certain level and you can easily exceed a normal subscription cost for a decent game.

What do you get for buying things, poor support, little content and lots of grinding.  Like I said scammers all.

I agree with you... a lot of MMOs have that kind of system... using cash shops to scam players...  too bad

if i'll be given a chance to create my own premium item... i'll be creating a "DOMINATE potion" which dominates players or monsters to be your minion for a period of time...

There are many, MANY mmorpg's where you do not have to spend a single penny  on the cash shop every, at any level (this is fact btw)

Seriously Ciredric, it seems like spreading false rumors is about the only thing you do lately. I seriously recommend you do some research first before posting..

yeah... many F2P MMORPGs are free to the fact that you can play their game freely without paying anything, as long as you have internet connection and the game patcher... purchasing cash shop or premium items are just optional, you can still play the game without even spending a single penny... how you will excell will then depend on your strategy and game play...

just a few utility items.  worm hole of listening(drop it somewhere and you'll hear anything said there), telescope of spying(see the camera of xxx person), choker of concealment, ring of recal(basic mark and recall spell).

I personally like lots of frivolous items that make you look better.  Like different hairstyles.  Also global broadcasting items are good.  In heavy grind games, exp boosts are nice.  One cool way to handle exp boost I saw was to add an additional constant value to the exp.  Like you would gain 60% more exp, and 100*level per monster.
