Solo Classes

in Everquest II

With the hours available to play, and frequency of being AFK, I find it a need to solo quite often.  That said, which classes are best/easiest to solo?

I have read that Necro and Monk are good.  any others?  At one point, I had a Wizard up to level 30.  wasnt so bad levelling solo back then (a year and a half ago).  How difficult would it be to go higher with it?  Any other classes doable?

    most classes are soloable, even some of the healers.  (well technically you could solo every class to 70, just some are easier/faster)



    Conjuror and Necro are good

    Fury and Warden are pretty good as well

    Monk and Bruiser are quite nice



    I know Shadowknight is pretty nice to solo on, except I am playing on a "babied" shadowknight (all his equip is leg/fabled/mastercrafted, and all his spells are mastered out)

    My god has horns.... nah, I don't think he is real either.

    ALL classes can SOLO in EQ 2.  Some are faster than others.





    You should consider playing that class that you enjoy most.





    Nevertheless, the "best" are probably Coercer, Necro, Fury, Wizard, Bruiser, Berserker, and Shadow Knight.

    First off i have no idea what a bone dancer is ............... it isnt in this game.

    I have a maxed monk.  I can tell you now an sk is a better soloing tank then monk is.  Only advantage monk has over sk really is ability to fd for a long long time so if you must afk at the spur of the moment, you just press fd and be safe.

    as far as the best soloing class ........... ide have to go with necro.  Sure other classes can solo maybe a little faster but the necro has utility and life taps that many other classes do not.  So while that wizzy can root and nuke those big mobs if root fails wizzy is back at zone in ................ a necro however has option to FD, fear mob, run off while pet buys you time ect.

    But yes my monk can solo pretty big mobs, my sk is proving to be a little better at it, but necro makes it pretty simplistic.

    I love soloing with my monk. Good offense, good defense, and a load of utility spells. Feign death and invisibility have kept him alive in situations that would have killed my berserker.

    I swear by my Zerker, he has been a blast to level to 70 with.  Spent about 95% of the time soloing with him.  After level 50 the zerker is great taking on multiple mobs, more so than say the monk and bruiser.

    I would also recommend a Swashbuckler, i solo him too and hes about lvl 50 right now.
