Help with choosing a MMORPG

I have played several different MMORPG's. I played the guild wars series for about 6 months, and than I got a little bored, so I decided to look for another one. I have not really found my calling yet.....I'm posting here in hope that someone will be able to help me find my dream game. I will describe what I'm kinda looking for in a game, and please tell me if you know of a game like this or even pretty close maybe...here are the features.

1. I would like it to have a good variety of monsters, but plz not so much grinding

2. Hopefully a good bit of quests to cut the grinding.

3. Cartoony, 2d graphics are fine to me.

4. Good community

5. Skills such as: fishing, mining perhaps.....I really would just love to be able to fish

6. I would really like it if you could own personal land or atleast your own house.

7. Fun relaxed atmosphere

8. Here's a big one now folks....I would like it to be free, or atleast have a private server somewhere or something. I cant really pay for a monthly subscription..

    EQ2 has a monthly fee to play. You might look at Dungeon Runners. I read that it's free to play....

    Dungeon runners does not have a good deal of monsters, and no trade-skills.  Also you cannot own any land.



    Though it meets most the other requirements.

    Well thats a lot thats out...but I thought that I saw you post on another forum saying that if your not a member than its really annoying. Really I didnt play the game because of your earlier post...

    I have a non-member character and trust me its rather easy without it, you make a good deal of money selling what you cant use as well.



    If your really concerned you can just be a mage, since they dont really rely on their weapon.

    What you want is Mabinogi. It is currently a foreign game but its still possible to play with english groups.



    Other than that, the fact that you are looking for a free game pretty much says you have no chance to find what you are looking for. You need to ask for something more realistic. Free games normally wouldnt offer you those benefits, because they need to make profit to support the developement time and servers needed for that. There is also a free game out there where you fish to earn money and buy clothes and houses, but I cant remember what it is called. No quests though, just fishing.

    Yeah lol my brother had told me that. I described to him what I wanted and he said WoW. Though I'm not really sure...for some reason its just not what i'm looking for I think. I think it fits all the criteria but just doesnt give me that extra something...you know that fun spark

    maybe not but i think theres a trial for it ... you could try it.
