My guild and I are preplanning. We did good in daoc, but it costs us alot of personal time work time and built up lots of aggro with wives N girlfriends. Warcraft came out, we tried to be successful but it was a game so unlike daoc and way too time intensive and pve focused for us to be a good guild. so we put it on cruise control in wow and most of us are doing minor things like, getting promotions, building a deck, having a first born son to take over our gamer legacy.... ya know, little things, with the intent of doing it this year and in this game so we can turn into trolls again for the release of warhammer.
INFACT. I am at work right now, I am working an additional 5 hours after working 7 days in a row..... why you ask? Im trying to build up credit and brownie points with the boss. I plan on taking a week and a half of "comp time" (days I worked for other people paid back to me, and then taking 2 weeks of "vacation time" for a total of 4 weeks off, for the release of Warhammer....... yes Im a geek but I gotta hit tier 4 before the guys over at IGN so I can write my review!!!
I kind of missed the point with the whole post. We know some persons like to use that comment (WoW=Waiting on War). I myself think it's plain stupid it sounds like every person playing WoW is just waiting for WAR to be released.
WAR and WoW aren't very alike each other. In some ways they may be, but WoW is still focused around PvE and WAR around PvP. Graphics and whatever may look alike, but the game play is different. I don't think all those PvE fans from WoW will come over to WAR.
Come on, we've all dealt with these kind of trolls before. By now you should have learned to use the 'Block' feature... They'll soon go back to where they came from.
