All this talk of SOE has made me remember what a good game that is.  Think I'll re-up and check out the new race and what-not.

I've been playing SoE's Planetside a lot again lately, and I'm loving it.  Such a unique game, its a real breath of fresh air compared to most mmorpgs these days .

Nothing against EQ2 though, I had fun with it too, though I was getting a little addicted to it so I made myself stop .

I wasn't interested in POTBS until this update; if station pass price doesn’t increase I will be playing this EQ2 and planetside this fall. The only thing that SOE could do to this game at this point is force and early release but w/e it sounds like the game is good.

I've thought about it, but I'm just too far behind in levels now.  I was always lagging behind most of the other players.  My trouble was I could never find an active guild.  I seemed to keep joining ones that were on the way out; I join, and soon thereafter they fold or I"m left on my own again.   Soloing was ok, but it got old, I could spend days lfg with no luck, and that just wasn't fun for me.

I never did play Planetside though I'm an FPS lover at heart.  The woman and I played EQ2 for a bit but that never really went far as we prefered WoW(ack!).  But, like it was said above, if the price of the Station Pass does not increase when PotBS hits then we will more than likely pay the $60/month so we can check out EQ2 again at the very least.  I don't think she ever tried MxO either. 

I won't be resub'ing EQ2 until we hit 70 in WoW as I really need to see these Arena's before I sign off from WoW completely but it is definately something I am considering.  Heh, as long as Sony keeps buying up/getting in on every MMO they can get their hands on this whole Station Pass thing becomes that much more appealing.  Now I just gotta figure out how to balance work/house/sleep/daughter/wife/game time....  Any suggestions?

I dunno, I thought EQ2 was pretty fun, but my graphics card (pretty decent) kept shutting down if I turned the graphics up too high (not very high at all) so everything just looked blurry and as much fun as I had, I couldn't stand to play a game that just looked like garbage (when it shouldn't).
