Jumpgate: Evolution: New Screenshots

Yesterday we reported that Jumpgate was getting a major facelift. To illustrate the changes to the game's graphics, 12 images showing off the new look have been added to our screenshot gallery. Take a look and compare the new to the old; the difference is substantial.

    Nice graphics upgrade! This is looking more and more interesting... we maybe have a new indy game with potential on the horizon!

    I loved Jumpgate before, was a great game. I really like the new screens and might have to resub the game when this goes live to check it out again. I hope they add some new features while they are at it.

    I can't remember how they handled transfering people from EU servers over to US when EU shut down. Hopefully that is not a problem as it would be nice to log back in to my old stuff. But who cares as I can't remember what I had anyway LOL.

    well.. if you want your stuff. You would have to re sub to Jumpgate TRI.  Jumpgate Evolution will be a major overhaul of the current game. You my even call it Jumpgate 2. I believe it will have a fresh start with servers wiped.

    I played this game for along time when it launched in the EU, and I have to admit seeing this game getting a face lift makes me want to play it all over again.  I'm VERY excited about this one :D

    I tried this long time ago and it was quite sub par back then, this engine upgrade definitely caught my attention now.
