Everyone Needs an Avatar

Ok, well, I'm tired of reading names. Can everyone please decide on a picture and use it as a permanent avatar? I mean, when I see that purple monster, I just know "Oh, that's Methane." Or, when I see ET and the Michael Jackson, I think "Draenor."

Ick, that's a creepy cat. Man, I swear, if I ever had an animal that looked like that, I'd put it down.
I'd think my avatar would make me fairly recognizable, but then again I took a break from mmo for a while.

I don't really need an avatar, as my posts generally stand out as they tend to be profanity laced insanity that only really makes sense to me.
Which just proved my theory that most of the people posting here are insane, since they always try to argue whatever point I'm making.
I do appreciate the recognition, though. I finally feel as if I've made it here in the Off Topic forums. All I need now is a hate thread, a la the WoW official forums.
BTW, my avatard is Charles Freck from A Scanner Darkly, as ingeniously portrayed by Rory Cochrane.
Usually my avatards fall into one of two catagories. Pics from movies(A Scanner Darkly, Boondock Saints), or black and white photos of little known performers/authors(Henry Rollins, Lenny Bruce, H.P. Lovecraft). I will try to put a leash on my urge to change my avatard around, and stick to esoteric literary quotes in my signature.

I do approve of MadAces Cheshire Cat avatard as the Alice game kicked ass.

I have never changed my Avatar since I joined mmorpg.com. This is my permanent one I guess. Magma Dragoon FTW:
Magma Dragoon had been the leader of the Maverick Hunters 14th Unit, a melee unit and he was a friend of X and Zero . He destroyed Sky Lagoon at the beginning of the game. Sigma convinced him to go Maverick for the chance to fight against X and Zero. Magma Dragoon suffers and is finally blown in half at the hands of X and Zero in the end. Though he felt the duel was worth betraying his unit, he's apologizes all the same before exploding. (He has been known to use Hadouken and Shoryuken attacks, from the Street Fighter game, also by Capcom.) An emulated Dragoon reappeared in X5 in a training gauntlet stage at Maverick Hunter Headquarters.
Dragoon has often been thought to be based of Akuma, as he wears Akuma's monk beads and has Akumas diving kick, though this could also be a tribute to Chun-Li's Lightning kick.

I think everyone should have an avatar too. But don't choose a such stupid avatar as mine. I just took some random moving animation that wasn't too big.

Well, I used to have a Serenity (The Ship) avatar, but I changed it a month or two back to Jayne Cobb blasting the shit out of something. I might use the Dune Cat one, though, made me lol.
