Looking for a mmorpg again..

I did it before and wanted to play darkfall online but i've been waiting forever not for playing beta but nothing ever happens.

I list what game I want in the order of importance in the game. 1 = most important.

 

1. Game must be in beta. I really really like being in a game since beginning. Can't say why exacly I just do.

2. Im getting tired of graphics like world of warcraft, warhammer etc has. I want a game with graphics like Tibia, Ultima online etc. Where you see you character from above.

3. PvP should be possible. Everywhere. I hate how for ex World of Warcraft has become. People stopped World PvP completely thanks to Battlegrounds. Some sort of death penalty too. Preferably loss of items that other player can loot. But and exp loss or something similar will do fine too. I want people to be more careful about dieng. In world of warcraft there was absolutely zero thrill in pvp.

 

I've been googling for a game like this and it's hard to find. Maybe with some help i'll be succesfull

Actually I found a game called Spellcasters.. seems like a really cool game. I hope they build more to it cus the game is very small atm so im sure they will. Looks very promising that game. But I want 1 more game to play same time. (Got lots of spare time hehe)

Well, for the above character view aspect, I could suggest Tales of Pirate Online (I also think its in beta, if not its just out of beta) but the graphics are verry cartoony, not in a WoWish way though. I am not sure how the PvP is in the game because I didnt play it long before dropping it. Not the greatest suggestion, but it just came to mind when you mentioned you wanted the overhead view. Pirates of the Burning Sea and Aion will be your best bet. Dont know the full rules of pvp with aion but I know there is open pvp, just dont know about looting rights. PotBS has open pvp from what I understand and some loot rights if I am not mistaken. Other than that, Darkfall is our hope... How sad is that. But check out Aion, should be going closed beta signup by end of July. Arial fighting is a bonus and there will be player housing. Hmmmm... arial fighitng... hope they do it right.

Been there done that. Ok game. I wrote some of the guides that are being used on some of the fansites. I would not invest any more time and/or future money into the game though. Just my personal opinion. A bit too flaky of a game for me. If I were to pay for a game to play it would have to be FFA PVP w/ loot options MMO. But that is just me.

There are no such games in beta that has open PvP with dead player looting. The only MMO that might go beta is Darkfall Online. The only 2 MMO's out atm that do have open PvP with player looting is Shadowbane and classic Ultima Online free player run shards/servers. SB has has 0 restrictions and UO, if you kill to many you will go red but you do have a house to hide out in if need be. SB was once pay to play and now free. The Mourning server on SB is the most populated and active.

Actually there are more games out there with open pvp and dead player looting. They aren't as popular as UO or SB but they exist.

Tibia I used to play and it has open pvp and dead player looting. Too bad that Tibia has the most retarded carebear community of all games I ever played. technically it could be a great game where you can kill anyone just for fun and loot. but the community made it into a game where you don't kill people without a "reason". Unless you want the whole server running after yo ass and killin you over and over again until your lvl 1 again :P

Anyways, I'm sure theres more games than tibia aswell with that system of PvP.

Spellcasters is in beta and it had dead player looting and open pvp. But they removed recently the dead player looting. You still loose exp and gold though.
