Metin2 flash ad

I realize you guys need to pay the bills, but that ad is horrible.  It's nearly seizure inducing and it's causing my pages and games to slow down whenever I've got the site up in the background. 

 

Be more selective on those ads, please!

    this is by far the worst ad i've seen on mmorpg.com.

    Yeah, it is kinda nuts, eh?  Although, very effective, wouldn't you say?  I find it stands out for me... that crazy dragon head thing.

    If by effective you mean "I can't browse the site while waiting for a group to form because of the ingame lag it causes when I tab in and out", then sure. 

    The ad did it's job... it got the name in my head.  But I promise to never play the game because of how annoying the ad is.  So it really didn't work all that well.  Just my 2 coppers.

    i can't browse the site at work as i am blocked when these ads are displayed - some surf protection thingy

    That's why I use Firefox with the Adblock Plus addon.  I don't see any advertisements

    Well, I wasn't really referring to the lag that comes with it, but more the "It stands out".  Yeah, this ad and a few others have a noticable impact on my machines too.  Although I don't run ad-blockers, I certainly dislike flash ads, speaking just for myself.

    Try getting some of those ads in linux... the browser virtually chokes on them.  1000 times worse than here in windows.

    Thanks.  I didn't want to block the ads, because I know the site needs them to pay the bills. But when they're this screwed up, I don't really have much choice.
