Anyone going to the Mitsubishi meet on the 14th in CA?

Me and my brothers in law are bringing our conquests to the meet. One of them is in the dyno competition, last time he was on the dyno his conquest got up to 520+ mph, blowing away the former record.

So anyone else going, and what are you bringing?

Where is it? I live right down the street from their U.S. headquarters but have heard nothing of it.

I have an 08 Lancer but have yet to start modding it. To be honest, I am waiting to see how reliable it is before I go and void the warranty. Still, though, its probably something I'd like to watch.

There's the link to it, sounds like its going to be a blast, my brothers in law had a great time last year. Maybe it will inspire you to do some nice modding to your Lancer . I just got my Starion/Conquest a few months ago, but once I move to CA ( next week ) I will start working on it. The first plan is to get a nice exhaust and then I will go from there.

I'll totally be there, its literally like 2 miles away from me. I hope they showcase the new Lancer Ralliart there, and the Evo (which is probably a give-in).

Yeah it should be a great time. I cant wait to see all the modded out cars. I saw a video of an eclipse hitting 1024 hp, I wonder if it will be there.

What year was the Eclipse, I am assuming 99' as the 2000-2007 models can't be modded very well.

eh ive owned an import tuner got it to run high 11's and 12's in a 90 celica all wheel.

It takes way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way too much effort compared to getting a muscle car.

Ex. new transam's run stuck 13's and i can mess with a little to get it to run 11's, and it will win in high end to most import cars.

never gonna do the import car thing again.

better yet if people wanna go fast get a motorcycle and put a turbo on that, or just get one. But most won't despite their "need for speed"
