I like FPS games, and I also like pvp games, but I am a little worried that Huxley will be similar to BF 2142. Dont get me wrong, I love that game, but I dont see it as appropriate for an mmo for the sole reason of how often you die. I am a mid-range player and I die a lot in that and similar games. Most of my friends who play are as good and better than I am and die a whole heck of a lot too. I think this game would be great if you can survive to a decent degree. Does anyone else agree or disagree?

Battlefield 2142 and Huxley are completely different. Huxley is more like Unreal but with MMO action.

There will be skills to use to help you survive. Phantoms for example; they get a certain skill that allows him/her to be immune to headshots. It shouldn't be too hard to survive. With a little bit of practice, you can destroy everyone.

Honestly I'm a little behind on this game.  I have not read a whole lot about it.  But what was originally intriguing to me about this game was that it felt like I was watching an FPS.  For me, one of the main draws of FPSs is the fragility of life.  If the intelligently handle death penalties and/or loss penalties I think they have a great thing going.  I am looking forward to dying and learning and killing and rejoicing in this MMO environment.

like newbking said, it wont be like battlefield... its  MMO, so u can pick different Jobs, Races etc which all have theyr special abilities to survive. But we can't really say much more about that topic, since there isnt much information out about it yet.

From all Reviews of Huxley Ever Posted theyve listed several different skills out their.  It was also stated later that "Immune to head shots" skill would be for all Classes.  The Only other 2 Class Only skills we know of is that the Phantom will have a "Cloaking" skill.  The Enforcer will have "Speed Boost", both skills are the way they sound.  Also the Avenger would get "Health scan", allowing them to see the enemys hit points.   Their is even a Gameplay Film out their where it shows an Enforcer using Speed boost as well as Infared vision.

All the skills we know of are....

Heal(dont know if you can heal others or not)

    Immune head shot

    Speed boost

    Hitpoints Boost

    Cloaking

    Spider Sense(detect enemys behind you)

    Health Scan

    Infared Vision

    Tackle(Melee Attack)

Death Flash(When you die your body explodes like a Flash Grenade)

    and Double Jump...

The skill info ahs been floating around for awhile now. I believe Gamespot was the first to dish alot of that out. Although i don't recall seeing the heal one i do want an ally heal ability.
