So who is trying Gods and Heroes MMO?

So who is looking forward to trying Gods and Heroes? It looks to be one of the few MMOs where everyone can control a whole group of minions. Looks interesting. From what I read everyone control 4 minions at the same time. I'm crossing my fingers for a beta spot and hopefully it turns out good.

I havn't seen much from this game yet. If they release an OB, I'll sign in.
Hell ya, this game is gonna be awesome. Who wouldnt want to run around ancient Rome with a volta by their side? And hopefully the devs keep worshiping players like they should!
Oh and 4 is the limit on minions, so 25 man raids instead of 40 for now.
Doesn't that sounds a bit like Eudemons?
Correct me if i'm wrong but Eudemons looks like a f2p grindfest where you have to buy ingame currency... the only similarity is having pets, but they can't be nearly as sophisticated as GnH's minions will be.

i guess im waiting for beta too. but the more i see of the game, whether video or screenshot, the less interested i get. the dungeon walkthrough i saw recently looked ..ok.. and sounds like there will be at least some scripted encounters, but overall the game just looks and feels too much like a bigger guild wars or diablo click-fest. but add in the super special power move.
hard to get excited about the roman theme. maybe hasnt been done as a pure theme in an mmo yet, but those monsters have all been done to death. yawn.
i think all those throws and finishing type moves look kinda silly, especially if they are happening in the middle of combat. its a little over the top.
not too impressed by the creature or character models. some of the environments ive seen look ok. ho-hum character classes. nothing new there.
cant say from experience, but id guess that since you can have a party of minions with you, that it probably will be a pretty solo friendly game. and solo friendly usually/lately = crappy community for the most part.
still has potential. but it just doesnt grab my attention. starting to have the same feelings about AoC as well, the more i see of it, the less interested i get. but at least aoc has a ton more going for it to be excited about. its just the basics that have me worried, on top of the fact that they merged all their cool character class ideas down to the run of the mill, ho-hum mmorpg classes.
i singed up for the beta, but dont think they`ll let me in cause me system sucks... that said i would like to try out this game just because it would be acompletely new experience to lead minions in a mmog, so i would say idd like to try it...

Every MMO deserves a try, but so far, G&H is not a must play for me.
G&H is an absolute yes for me. Everything I've read about it is positive, though to be honest, the graphics haven't really impressed me. I'm signed up for the beta, but even if not selected to test, I'm still buying the game.
I worry about this too bud. But I have read that some of the tougher creatures like hydras and giants would annilate a single party of equal level. And for some of the better loot you can't solo it.
No way, it's an SOE game.
That's false. It's a Perpetual Entertainment game and it's been said it won't be a part of SOE's all access pass. SOE is only the publisher for this game.

yea i'll try it out. i hope i make beta but if i don't i'll just watch for some reviews/player comments and unless its just a bust i'm sure i'll give it a go.

Yes, I will be giving God's and Heroes a Whirl. I stated in another post that I am reading a great book series that is a fictional retelling of Troy. It is awesome and I love the Mythos. It is amping me up. Yes, the books are based in Greek myth but the Roman mythos is very close.
The squad combat looks fun. The combat animations look great from what I have seen and it looks like it will be both solo and group friendly which I like. The storyline appears that it will be enjoyable as well.
The only thing I would have liked to have seen is the ability to choose any of the gods instead of being restricted by class. Stil, I like the fact that picking a specific god makes a huge difference for your character.

nope.
as long as i can try it in open beta i'll give it a shot, but i won't be purchasing it blind that's for sure. nothing about this game has really peaked my curiosity, maybe i'm just not understanding it right, but it seems to be a roman guild wars, and that just leaves me flaccid.

Hell yeah i'm playin it.
I'm so done with wow clones, from LoTRO to Warhammer. This actually looks new and interesting with the minion combat and the setting. I love mythology. I'm tired of Orcs. I really hope this game is awesome. I'm totally playing it.

I guess you know nothing about the relationship between Brad McQuaid and SoE. Brad McQuaid is a sellout. I wouldn't be so quick to label Perpetual Entertainment sellouts without any backup evidence.
I can't wait to play this game. I'm looking forward to it. the video's are awsome and have me very excited to play it hopefully I will get into a closed beta spot to help out with the game before it goes live as I love to beta games and give feedback.
