Why people love GW

duheduhe Member Posts: 4

I played Guildwars for the last couple weekends of beta and for about a month after release, but I got bored of it really fast. It didn't feel like much of an mmo because of all the instancing, the quick and easy campaign, and the level 20 cap. I was just wondering what people that have been playing for a long time still like about it, because i must have missed something....

A game - any game - is nothing more than a diversion: an escape from the hassles of everyday life. When you consider that it costs nothing but time to play this game, and because you don't feel like you're wasting money if you don't play, there is no "pressure" to play. It's a game you can log into for a few minutes or a couple of hours every now and then just to kill some time and have some fun doing it.

The graphics are great, the music is awesome, and the quests favor a casual style of play, unless you want to do hard mode or elite missions. That's where the intensity really ramps up. If that's what you like, log in and try some of that action. Won't cost you a penny to see what you're missing.

People love GW , because it isn't based on level rising and it has great PvP . I also like RP and i don't know why almost all people call GW RP scanty . Also GW , Factions and NF has intresting storyline , missions and quests . Characters is awesome balanced . This game it very nice , has nice skin items and environment . There is some places where is hard to fight ( Underworld , Fissure of Woe , Tomb of Primeval Kings ) , so if you expericed , you don't need too fight in newbs areas , or you can change your normal mode to Hard Mode , so we won't get bored fighting with craftily and strong mobs . Also there is events every week in GW .

First you must give , only than you can take .

I also got tired pretty fast of the game. But I've tried it out now again and I'm really stuck (except for a short break to Fable) I've been playing nonstop. I decided to try out the PvP aspect of the game as I've not had real time to try it. And I got stuck with my N/E and a template I found on internet.

Then came the Dragon Festival and I sat playing in Dragon Arena nonstop. Then I turned back to PvP again. At the moment it's PvP I'm trying out, but I also enjoy the campaigns and PvE part.

So you played the game over two years ago and you are wondering if you missed something...  Someone forgot or did not know this game was not about leveling.  Strange for a Beta player.

Again, this is on the verge of being a troll post.  You obviously still have the game, go check it out.

I keep myself busy being a title whore at the moment.  I want to see how many I can max before GW:EN comes out and you get your Hall of Monuments.
