I remember first reading about this MMO and hitting up the website maybe a couple of years ago now. I remember looking at the concept art and in game renders and seeing people with harps for weapons and quite freaky clothing and - wasn't there a UNICORN at some stage? - and all kinds of other psychedelic stuff in space that basically looked totally different from any other MMO out there.
I was pretty intrigued!
Now I come back and take another look at it and basically it looks like a totally different game. Now you've got people running around with guns. Like 90% of games out there....
What happened, can anyone enlighten me?

hey i kno what u mean i saw that video too it was like a sword fantasy game wif a sci-fi background but it has changed and i like the new change!

About a year into the development of Tabula Rasa, Richard Garriot and his team of developers decided to scrap the setting and start again. The reason was because they were trying to appeal to both East and West cultures with the game, but in the end, they didn't feel that the game would appeal to either one well enough to succeed.
